In the initial stages of urethral oncology does not bring any discomfort, in subsequent stages there is a burning sensation, discomfort during sex. The final stages are characterized by a visible mass on the urethra, intense pain during urination, enlargement of lymph nodes of the inguinal region. To the above, malaise, general intoxication of the body and pain in the lumbar region are added.

DIAGNOSIS AT MDI CLINIC

For this type of disease, there are examination methods such as:

  • Urethroscopy with the possibility of biopsy (gives the opportunity to examine the surface of the canal and detect foci of pathologically altered tissues)

  • Magnetic resonance tomography
  • Advanced blood work
  • Advanced urinalysis

On the first day, the patient arrives at the clinic and is introduced to the lead doctor. An initial examination is performed, anamnesis is collected, complaints are clarified, and referrals for individually necessary tests are issued. On the second day, all tests and examinations are done on the patient. On the third day, the consilium of specialists, having studied the results of examinations in detail, draws up an individual treatment plan and agrees with the patient.

TREATMENT AT MDI CLINIC

Minimally invasive surgery using a cystoscope and electrocautery cauterization is used to treat urethral oncology. More complicated cases may require open surgery with partial or complete removal of the affected organs followed by reconstruction if possible. Radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and brachytherapy are used in combination.
