HematologyIn anemia, the number of red blood cells decreases and hemoglobin levels drop. The consequence is insufficient oxygen supply to the organs and tissues of the body. The disease is caused by a variety of reasons. Symptomatology can be either mild or severe.
Treatment methods
Vitamin deficiencies can be compensated by taking appropriate vitamin and mineral complexes. These can be supplements or injections. This method activates the immune system.
Doctors prescribe individualized medications that have iron in them. Oral medications are often used. If the iron level is too low, intravenous administration of the formulation is possible.

The hereditary forms, spherocytosis and thrombocytopenia, are due to genetic mutations. Acute or chronic blood loss such as internal bleeding, menstruation, and trauma can cause the disease.
Diagnosis at MDI Clinic
The doctor begins to gather information about your medical and family history. He examines in detail the symptoms, previous illnesses, surgeries, hereditary factor.
The doctor performs a physical exam, measures blood pressure, pulse, and examines the skin, mucous membranes, and nails to determine disease.
The shapes and sizes of red blood cells are analyzed under a microscope to identify certain shapes, such as microcytic or macrocytic.
Then iron parameters are examined – iron, ferritin and transferrin in the blood are determined. The study helps to identify conditions caused by iron deficiency.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps).
