Diagnosis of the disease in MDI Clinic

  • Urine and blood tests, including tests for cancer markers.
  • Cystoscopy – examining the bladder lining visually with a cystoscope inserted through the urethra.
  • Photodynamic diagnostics. It is used to detect cancer in its earliest stages, when the tumor is not yet visible with conventional cystoscopy. The essence of the procedure is the use of a photosensitizer that is sensitive to light. Malignant cells are more active in absorbing this drug. Laser light is then applied and the drug glows, marking the foci of the tumor.
  • Biopsy. It is taken from suspicious areas for examination.

In advanced stages of the disease, patients are prescribed a CT scan or MRI.

    Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried.
