The disease is inherited in an autosomal dominant mode, meaning that the mutated gene can be inherited from one parent. Premature fusion of the sutures can lead to head shape abnormalities such as plagiocephaly (asymmetrical head shape). Due to abnormalities in facial development, some patients may have difficulty breathing and feeding.

    Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried.
