Symptomatology and risk factors for the development of CLL
The onset of chronic lympholeukemia often goes unnoticed. Later on, you may notice signs of the disease such as:
- weakness and palpitations;
- pallor of the skin;
- weakness to infectious diseases, particularly sore throat;
- increased sweating;
- unwarranted fever
- weight loss, poor appetite;
- bleeding;
- enlarged lymph nodes;
- constant heaviness in the abdomen, which is a symptom of an increase in the size of the liver and spleen.
Among the risk factors for developing the disease:
- Age. In nine out of ten cases, doctors diagnose chronic lympholeukemia in patients over 50 years old.
- Negative external influences. Pesticides, radon and some other substances have detrimental effects.
- Heredity. In this case, the risk of disease is significantly increased.
- Paul. ChlLL is more often found in men.
- Ethnicity. In most cases, residents of North America, Australia and European countries are susceptible to the disease.
Examinations for chronic lympholeukemia

- Immunophenotyping. Allows you to determine the phenotype of malignant cells.
