Prof. Oded NAHLIELI

Prof. Oded NAHLIELI is Israel’s leading specialist in otorhinolaryngologic diseases, in dentistry and minimally invasive surgery. Recognized expert in minimally invasive endoscopic treatment for salivary gland disorders. He holds the position of Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is an expert consultant and practicing specialist in the largest Israeli clinic “Assuta”.

Oded Nakhlieli has about 40 years of successful practice in this field of medicine and is one of the most competent Israeli specialists in salivary gland treatment today.

His professional interests include all inflammatory diseases of the salivary glands, salivary gland endoscopy, maxillofacial surgery and treatment of the hyoid and inferior alveolar nerve.

Prof. Nakhlieli is a pioneering physician. He has developed several author’s techniques and systems of endoscopy in dentistry and minimally invasive endoscopic salivary gland surgery, and was one of the first specialists in Israel to put this technique into practice. Oded Nakhlieli has performed more than 2500 such procedures in his clinical practice.

Oded Nakhlieli is the author of more than 25 patents of innovative methods and technologies. He has written over 100 articles and book chapters on salivary gland diseases. The professor is regularly invited to lectures, during which he shares his rich experience with colleagues from Israel and other countries, and presents the methods he has developed.

Oded Nakhlieli has restored health to thousands of patients, fully preserving their swallowing function and clear speech.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
