Prof. Michal LUNZ is a leading otolaryngologist in Israel. He has been treating a wide range of diseases in the field of otorhinolaryngology in children and adults for over 35 years. Professor Luntz promptly and at the highest level diagnoses and treats conditions such as chronic and acute hearing disorders in infants, children and adults, acute and recurrent ear inflammation, serous inflammation, cholesteatoma, chronic secreting ear inflammation, vestibular disorders, facial nerve disorders, tumors of the ear and adjacent tissues and many others.
Michal Luntz, herself hearing impaired, underwent surgery in the United States to implant electrodes to replace the auditory nerve. Having experienced the benefits of this method firsthand, Michal Luntz was one of the first to introduce electrode implantation in the auditory nerve in Israel.
In his practice, Prof. Michal Luntz uses modern, minimally invasive endoscopic techniques that are characterized by high efficiency rates combined with minimal trauma. The doctor has more than 1000 successfully performed minimally invasive surgical interventions, such as tympanoplasty, reconstruction of auditory ossicles, osteoplasty, cochlear implantation and many others.

In addition to his primary clinical practice, Michal Luntz has been active in research and development for many years. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications in his specialization. He lectures at many universities around the world, including the University of Miami, Cambridge University, Cornell University, the Royal Society of Britain, the University of Rome and the University of Hanover. He teaches at the Faculty of Medicine at the Technion University of Haifa.
In 2002, Prof. Michal Luntz was honored for her unique contribution to revolutionary breakthroughs in science and technology.
