Prof. Micha RABAU is a proctologist, colorectal surgeon and one of Israel’s leading specialists in the removal of polyps and tumors of the intestine and other digestive organs. Head of the Department of Colorectal Surgery. Total medical experience is approaching 50 years.

Recognized as an internationally renowned expert in the treatment of fistulas, hemorrhoids, fistulas and anal fissures, anal sphincter weakness, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease and colitis.

Prof. Micha Rabau is a talented proctologic surgeon, a specialist in endoscopic colorectal surgery and is fluent in advanced treatment techniques in the field of proctology, GI surgery and colorectal surgery.

Micha Rabau is well educated. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, then from the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in Israel. He has trained for many years at major medical centers in America, the UK and Canada.

In addition to a busy and successful clinical practice, Micha Rabau is also known as a serious scientist. A pioneering surgeon, he has authored his own unique techniques for performing colorectal surgeries. He has several author’s methods of carrying out the most complex surgical interventions, thanks to which a high effect is achieved in the treatment of various types of cancer of GI organs.

Over the years, Prof. Rabau has helped tens of thousands of patients from around the world.

Repeatedly honored with prestigious awards and honors, he has been awarded grants for medical and surgical research in colorectal surgery. The results of these studies have been published in leading medical specialized publications, he is the author of more than 200 scientific monographs and articles.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
