Prof. Zeev HOCHBERG is a highly regarded specialist in pediatric endocrinology. The doctor’s main areas of professional interest include the following endocrine system disorders in children and adolescents: growth problems, puberty, obesity, metabolic bone diseases, thyroid and adrenal diseases, and other hormonal disorders and diseases.
Zeev Hochberg is an excellent, experienced diagnostician. Pediatric endocrinology requires a specific approach to treatment, as the development of the glands of the endocrine system in children is quite rapid. Therefore, it is important to detect disease or abnormalities in the glands as early as possible to successfully correct their function and increase the chances of successful treatment.
Prof. Hochberg’s research interests are in the study of growth mechanisms in children and the origin of metabolic bone diseases. Recipient of the Andrea Prader Prize for significant contributions to the development of pediatric endocrinology worldwide.
Ze’ev Hochberg is an MD (MD) who teaches pediatric endocrinology students at Technion University Haifa and at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Leads the European Pediatric Endocrinology Education Program in Developing Countries.
