Dr. Yaakov MASHIAH is one of Israel’s most renowned and sought-after specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of various skin conditions. Counsels adults and children of all ages.

A practicing physician with nearly 30 years of experience. Established and led the Early Detection of Skin Cancer Unit in the Medical Center’s Dermatology Department. Today, she serves as chief physician for the adult and pediatric departments of the medical center.

Yaakov Mashiach began studying medicine in France. He then completed his education in Israel, at Tel Aviv University. Interned at leading pediatric clinics in Israel and France.

In his daily clinical practice, Dr. Mashiach uses state-of-the-art techniques to diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions. Utilizes the latest progressive skin cancer treatments such as MOS layer-by-layer excision, TIL cell therapy and many others.

Yakov Mashiach regularly publishes the results of his clinical research and many years of experience in the field of dermatology in specialized medical literature and is the author of more than 30 scientific papers. He is a popular lecturer in the Department of Skin Diseases at Tel Aviv University. In 2008, Yaakov Mashiach was named Israel’s best teacher.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
