Dr. Gil PERETZ is an experienced Israeli ophthalmologist, highly skilled in glaucoma treatment and cataract surgery. The doctor was the recipient of the best dissertation fellowship in medical school, honored as an outstanding young researcher and awarded prizes by the Ophthalmology Association conference in Israel in 2010. He brilliantly performs laser peripheral iridotomy, laser trabeculotomy, selective laser trabeculoplasty and diode transscleral cyclocoagulation with cyclo-cryopexy. Dr. Peretz also has a successful track record of cataract surgery. He uses modern techniques to remove the clouded lens, one of which is extracapsular extraction. This method helps to preserve the natural structure of the capsule without compromising its functionality. Gil Peretz graduated from the Hebrew University Faculty of Medicine. As part of his military service, the doctor held various positions, including working closely with the Ministry of Health and managing hospitals in Israel. At the University of the University of. Ben-Gurion in the Negev, he earned a master’s degree in health care administration. Dr. Peretz trained in ophthalmology at Kaplan Medical Center.
