Dr. Alexander RUBOVITZ

Dr. Alexander RUBOVITZ is a superb ophthalmologist and an expert on eye diseases in adults and children. He specializes in retinal and cataract surgery. He is an internationally recognized physician in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy, ocular vascular occlusion, macular hole, epiretinal membrane, congenital retinal defects and many other eye diseases. Clinical experience – more than 25 years.

The doctor uses in his work the most modern technologies and advanced means of ophthalmic surgery, which he has mastered perfectly during the internship in the leading medical centers of Israel and the USA. During his practice, Alexander Rubovitz has performed thousands of surgeries of various levels of complexity, improving and restoring the vision of hundreds of patients every year. The doctor is known not only in Israel, but also abroad – an experienced specialist, surgeon and diagnostician.

Every 2 years, Dr. Rubowitz visits China where he trains local doctors to perform retinal surgery. In this way, he combines his love for his profession with his need to pass on his professional experience. In one of his interviews, Alexander Rubovitz said: “My vocation as a doctor is to make decisions together with the patient”. Alexander Rubovitz teaches at the M.D. Anderson School of Medicine. Sackler Tel Aviv University in the ophthalmology program. He is the leader of a number of promising research projects aimed at creating new treatments for retinal diseases. Drs. Rubowitz is an active participant in international scientific conferences and is a frequent speaker on the latest developments in the treatment of eye diseases. Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
