In the case of lymphoma, these blood cells do not mature to the proper state. Instead of performing standard functions, there is uncontrolled multiplication of lymphocytes and displacement of healthy cells. And it occurs not only in the lymph nodes, but also in other organs and tissues. The absence of full-fledged lymphocytes capable of performing natural functions makes humans completely defenseless to external threats.

Specialists distinguish two types of lymphoma:

  • Hodgkin’s lymphoma;
  • non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
