Types of vasculitis
- Primary vasculitis is an independent disease whose cause is an autoimmune process. The body attacks the cells of the blood vessels for unknown reasons.
- Secondary vasculitis is a symptom of various syndromes and diseases. For example, it appears after infections, intoxication, in diabetes mellitus, lupus erythematosus, sarcoidosis.
Symptoms

- Behçet’s syndrome is characterized by inflammation of the mucous membranes. Ulcers appear on them, stomatitis and inflammation of the eyes are characteristic.
