Gilat LIVNI is a widely respected Israeli pediatrician and consultant in infectious diseases. Doctor of Medicine (MD), Associate Chief of Pediatrics at a medical center.
Dr. Livni’s main focus is the consultation, diagnosis and treatment of pediatric pathologies such as particularly common infectious diseases: recurrent fevers, influenza, diarrhea and many others. The doctor also performs complex diagnostics of infectious diseases in children, evaluation and necessity of vaccination, diagnosis of infection after surgical interventions and invasive procedures.
Gilat Livni graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Medicine. Ben-Gurion in Be’er Sheva. After practicing medicine at Schneider Children’s Hospital, she trained in a microbiology laboratory in Chicago, USA.
In 2003, Gilat Livni was recognized as the best lecturer at Tel Aviv University and the best teacher of courses for repatriate physicians.
Dr. Livni continuously conducts clinical research related to infectious diseases. And also participates in international clinical trials on vaccination issues.
