Prof. Dan FLIS

Professor Dan Flis is a leading Israeli otorhinolaryngologist, a unique physician with vast experience in face and neck surgery, nasal and sinus tumor removal. In 2006, he was honored with the prestigious American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Award. The professor’s total clinical experience is 30 years.

Dan Fleece has extensive professional skills and has many years of surgical experience. He brilliantly performs all types of surgical operations for pathology of ENT organs. He is fluent in microsurgical techniques and widely uses reconstructive plastic surgery techniques. The professor offers his patients optimal treatment options with minimal invasiveness and performs organ-preserving surgeries. The doctor’s main goal is to get you well and to ensure the shortest recovery period possible. To do this, he uses modern endoscopic surgical techniques that meet the highest international standards. Prof. Flis is widely regarded as one of the best ENT oncologists not only in Israel but also abroad.

Dan Flis received a brilliant education at the University of Bologna in Italy. He then trained in the best clinics in Israel, Switzerland and Canada. Currently, the professor is head of the Department of Head and Neck Surgery.

Dan Flis is actively involved in research projects at the Center for Microvascular Surgery and Head and Neck Reconstruction at the Health Sciences Centre in Canada. Founder and honorary member of the Asian Association of Head and Neck Surgeons. He has authored more than 150 papers published in international professional publications, as well as 18 chapters in textbooks on ENT specialty with emphasis on head and neck surgery.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
