Dr. Vadim BENKOVICH

Dr. Vadim Benkovich Israeli orthopedist, unique surgeon, world-renowned specialist in complex minimally invasive joint surgery and endoprosthetics. Head of the joint endoprosthetics department at the clinic.

With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Benkovic successfully treats congenital or acquired diseases of the skeletal bones, joints, brilliantly performs joint replacement surgeries, and is involved in orthopedic traumatology. He specializes in orthopedic surgery for joint reconstruction under the control of CT and MRI devices, using a unique invention – the so-called method of “personalized fitting” of the joint – the creation of an artificial joint that exactly copies the anatomical structure of the patient’s joint.

Every year Vadim Benkovich operates on more than 700 patients from all over the world, restoring their mobility. Known for his achievements in minimizing postoperative complications, he practices an accelerated rehabilitation program for patients after surgery.

As a recognized expert in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Benkovic consults with patients and colleagues on a daily basis, and his opinion is crucial in deciding whether surgery is necessary. He recommends surgical intervention only when it is the only way to help the patient.

In addition to his main work in the clinic, Vadim Benkovich teaches at the University of Vadim Benkovich. He is the head of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Ben-Gurion University.

Dr. Benkovic is also widely known in scientific circles. He is seriously engaged in research, development of author’s unique gentle surgical techniques in orthopedics. He willingly shares the results of his research and development with Israeli and foreign colleagues, and has published dozens of papers in leading medical journals.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
