Gadi Lotan graduated in 1980 from the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. After graduation he improved his qualification and underwent training in leading clinics in Israel, France and the USA.
He was an officer in the paratroopers of the Israel Defense Forces, serving 4 years as a military doctor. He is now a member of the reserve forces and is also an instructor at the School of Military Medicine and Trauma. Since 2013, Gadi Lotan has headed the pediatric surgery department at an Israeli hospital.
Dr. Gadi Lotan performs surgeries of varying complexity in adults and children at the Assuta Medical Complex. He also performs minimally invasive abdominal (laparoscopy) and thoracic (thoracoscopy) surgeries on children in Israeli hospitals as part of a “master class” for students.
