Prof. Itzhak VINOGRAD

Prof. Itzhak VINOGRAD is a renowned Israeli pediatric surgeon. He is involved in the surgical treatment of a wide range of congenital and acquired pathologies in children. The doctor’s total clinical experience is more than 40 years.

For more than 20 years Yitzhak Vinograd has been the head of the pediatric surgery department in a large medical center and specializes in the treatment of congenital and acquired diseases of the digestive system, surgery of various hernias, hydrocele (testicular hydrocele), varicocele and cryptorchidism, surgical treatment of thoracic and abdominal tumors in children, as well as surgical correction of congenital malformations of the thorax, lungs and trachea.

Today, Prof. Vinograd is one of the best and most sought-after pediatric surgeons. The main direction of professional activity of this talented doctor is to perform endoscopic minimally invasive surgical interventions.

Yitzhak Vinograd received his medical education at Tel Aviv University. After graduation, he first trained in surgery in Israel and later in pediatric surgery at major pediatric hospitals in the United States and Canada. Since 1999, he has worked in the pediatric surgical department of Ikhilov Hospital, and currently heads the specialized department of pediatric surgery.

Prof. Yitzhak Vinograd is a sought-after and popular lecturer, lecturing on surgery at the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine.

Eminent scientist and author of more than 120 scientific and practical works on pediatric surgery. Member of the National Surgical Council for Surgery, Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Israeli Ministry of Health. He is a member of the Israeli Medical Association and the Israeli Association of Surgeons.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
