Professor Jason Rappoport.

Prof. Jason RAPPOPORT is one of Israel’s top nephrologists and a highly qualified physician in the field of clinical nephrology and dialysis. His main area of research interest is arterial hypertension of renal genesis. The professor’s total clinical experience is more than 40 years.

In his work, Jason Rappoport utilizes modern and precise diagnostic and treatment methods that facilitate the procedure and reduce the risk of complications to zero. Rich experience and deep knowledge of medicine allow the professor to diagnose kidney diseases without errors. It has helped many patients to save an organ, as well as to get rid of serious life-threatening pathologies completely and without consequences.

Professor Rappoport completed his medical degree with honors at Middlesex University Medical School in London. He specialized in nephrology at Rambam Medical Center in Israel and then studied in New York at the Johns Hopkins College of Medicine. Albert Einstein at Yeshiva University. Upon his return to Israel, the professor served as head of the Department of Nephrology at the medical center for 11 years. Jason Rappoport has directed the Institute of Nephrology and Hypertension and the Dialysis Unit at Assuta Medical Center since 1997.

In addition to saving patients’ lives, the professor also passes on his skills and knowledge to young doctors. Prof. teaches students at the Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
