Prof. Zvi RAM

Prof. Zvi RAM is one of the most respected physicians in the field of neurosurgery and neuro-oncology. He specializes in the treatment of various brain and nervous system disorders. The doctor’s total experience is more than 30 years.

Prof. Ram is widely recognized for performing uniquely complex neurosurgical operations on the brain and spinal cord. In his work, the professor uses both traditional, requiring skull trepanning, and minimally invasive endoscopic methods. He performs removal of brain tumors, surgical treatment of epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and other neurological diseases. He uses only high-tech equipment, which helps to act as accurately as possible and perform the necessary manipulations with extreme care, which minimizes the risk of damage to zero. Thousands of patients from all over the world have returned to their normal lives thanks to the efforts of this magnificent surgeon.

The professor was educated at the University of Maryland Medical School in the United States. Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine named after M.V. Lomonosov. Sackler at Tel Aviv University. Trained in neurosurgery at Sheba Medical Center. Zvi Ram has been involved in some of the largest scientific projects, including developments in gene therapy for the treatment of brain tumors at the National Institutes of Health in the United States. Today, Zvi Ram is a professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the M.D. Anderson School of Medicine. Sackler at Tel Aviv University. A successful and renowned researcher, scientist, author of more than 130 scientific papers and 200 articles that contribute greatly to the development of Israeli and world neurosurgery.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
