Prof. Uri Kramer

Prof. Uri KRAMER is a neurologist and Israel’s foremost expert in the diagnosis and treatment of various neurological disorders in children and adolescents.

The main professional interest of the doctor is the treatment of pediatric epilepsy. Prof. Kramer is rightly considered a world expert in this field. Patients from all over the world come to him for consultation. For about 50 years, this wonderful doctor has been giving to his favorite cause. The professor has more than 7000 cured little patients and grateful feedback from their parents.

Uri Kramer is co-founder of BioLert Ltd, an Israeli company that has developed a unique medical bracelet for people with epilepsy. This device allows preventing epilepsy attacks in children and adults when no one is around, can be used to monitor children during sleep. A receiver is installed in the parents’ room to receive signals about the child’s epileptic seizure. In adult patients, the device can transmit seizure signals to the health care team.

In addition to a busy clinical practice, Uri Kramer is a prolific research scientist. Author of more than 160 scientific papers in the field of pediatric neurology. He is regularly invited to speak at international symposia and conferences, and lectures on pediatric neurological diseases at Tel Aviv University.

Today, Prof. Uri Kramer holds the position of Head of the Pediatric Epilepsy Unit. He is Chairman of the Israeli Association of Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy and a member of international professional societies.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
