Dr. Orit Stoller is a leading Israeli specialist in pediatric neurology and child development. She is involved in the research, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of different neurological disorders in young children, with a special focus on ADHD and hyperactivity, as well as the monitoring and pharmacologic treatment of children with autism spectrum disorders.
Dr. Stoller actively practices ABA therapy, an intensive behavioral training program that is one of the most effective methods of correcting childhood autism today.
Orit Stoller studied medicine in the United States, after graduation she specialized in pediatrics and pediatric neurology at major children’s hospitals in Israel. Since 2009, Dr. Stoller has been a member of the team of specialists in the neurology department of the clinic and the Autism Research and Treatment Center. Today, she heads this Center. Also provides medical supervision at Alutaf daycare centers, day rehabilitation centers for autistic toddlers.
In 2017, a team of neuroscientists and pharmacologists led by Dr. Orit Stoller conducted a major clinical trial that made a breakthrough in the therapy of children with autism. Following the treatment offered by Orit Stoller, 53% of the study families with autistic children reported a significant and substantial improvement in their condition and quality of life. This is especially important because children with autism have difficulty interacting with others and have difficulty communicating.
Dr. Stoller is genuinely excited about each child’s accomplishments: expressing themselves, showing even the slightest interest, connecting to the process. The “little things” of everyday life for the average person are real feats for an autistic child.
