Julius Egesh received a commendation from the MDA (Israel’s national medical service) for saving the life of a Greek citizen who suffered a heart attack during a flight. His professional skills and ability to make decisions in emergency situations have saved many hundreds of lives.
Julius Egesch began his professional journey in Italy. He went on to study at Israel’s Technion University in Haifa. After graduation he underwent an internship in leading clinics in the USA. Upon returning to Israel, he began to utilize and implement new methods of cardiac diagnosis and treatment learned in the United States. Because of his achievements in pediatric cardiology, the doctor served as director of the Institute of Pediatric Cardiology at Sheba Medical Center for more than 20 years.
