Prof. MICHAEL GLIXON is one of the outstanding cardiologists and electrophysiologists of our time. Head of the innovative cardiac center – Arrhythmia and Pacemaker Institute at the largest public medical complex, Head of the Department of Electrophysiology and Cardiology, leading cardiologist at the Assuta Clinic. Clinical experience – more than 25 years.

Michael Glickson is a world-class expert in arrhythmia treatment and cardiac pacing. He is highly effective in the procedure of cardiac catheterization, treatment of arrhythmias with ablation, implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators – devices that maintain normal heart function.

In his daily practice, the doctor uses the most modern approaches and the latest techniques for the therapy of heart diseases. Developed and successfully implemented a new method of electrophysiologic action for the treatment of cardiac muscle.

Michael Glickson is seriously involved in research and development, leads and actively participates in many joint clinical trials with MayoClinic in the USA, maintains close cooperation with pacemaker manufacturers, who engage him for expert evaluation of products.

Since 2012, Prof. Glickson has been successfully teaching in the Department of Cardiology at Tel Aviv University. He has co-authored 10 textbooks. He has written more than 150 scientific articles published in various international journals and has made more than 400 papers presented at international conferences organized by himself. The main topic of his writings and speeches is the problems of heart rhythm disorders.

He is the organizer of seminars for cardiologists in Israel, where doctors from all over the world come to improve their professional level and learn about innovations in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Prof. Michael Glickson has been named to Forbes magazine’s 2017 list of Top Doctors.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
