Prof. Dani BEN-AMITAI

Professor Dani BEN-AMITAI is an internationally renowned dermatologist and a recognized expert in the treatment of pediatric skin diseases. Chief of Pediatric Dermatology at a major medical center. He has nearly 40 years of successful medical practice under his belt.

Dani Ben-Amitai specializes in skin diseases, treatment of congenital and acquired skin diseases, treatment of inflammatory and infectious skin diseases, treatment of atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, vitiligo, and treatment of skin tumors.

In his work, the doctor actively uses the most advanced technologies, such as laser therapy, photodynamic treatment, as well as individual immunotherapeutic techniques, which are selected separately for each patient.

In addition to being an excellent doctor, Dani Ben-Amitai is also a brilliant diagnostician, detecting disease in its earliest stages.

Prof. Ben-Amitai enjoys great prestige among his peers. He is sought for his competent opinion in the most complex, controversial cases.

In addition to her primary clinical activities, Dani Ben-Amitai regularly lectures to future dermatologists, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Dermatology, and holds the Chair of the Department of Dermatology at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Ben-Amitai is hugely popular with students and his lectures are the most attended at the university. He has written dozens of scientific articles published in the most renowned international publications, which are of great scientific interest. He has authored book chapters on dermatology and pediatrics.

Dani Ben-Amitai is not only the head but also one of the founders of the Association of Pediatric Dermatologists in Israel.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
