Prof. Oren Chibollet

Professor Oren SHIBOLET is a recognized world-class specialist in the treatment of liver diseases and various gastroenterological pathologies. In his daily practice, the doctor uses the most advanced techniques and technologies, which allows him to achieve the best possible results.

Currently, Prof. Shibolet successfully treats liver diseases of various etiologies: viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver damage by alcohol and drugs. In addition to hepatology, he specializes in gastrointestinal diseases: ulcers, gastritis, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, colitis. Oren Shibolet has extensive experience in the treatment of liver oncopathologies (benign and malignant neoplasms). The doctor has been particularly successful in the field of liver transplantation and its complications. He also deals with rare problems such as genetic diseases with liver damage, autoimmune hepatitis.

In addition to his main practical activities, Oren Shibolet is actively and fruitfully engaged in science. He is the author of more than 60 scientific papers published in major professional medical publications. Often invited as a keynote speaker at international conferences. Professor Oren Shibolet is the scientific director of the specialized liver disease modeling laboratory at the Israel Academy of Sciences.

He has been repeatedly honored with prestigious prizes and awards for successes in scientific and practical activities. Prof. Oren Shibolet currently serves as Secretary General of the Israeli Society for Liver Research.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere. Was in Tel Aviv for 3 days and during this time visited the doctor, did all the necessary tests and prescribed treatment. After leaving, I am still in touch with the curators and doctors to find out how the treatment is going, whether the medication is helping, my general health, whether I need to send more medication, etc. I am very glad that I visited MDI clinic, as it was the first time I saw the effect of treatment and that it actually helps. Words can't describe the emotions and feelings when you realize that you will finally be healthy and you can no longer be self-conscious about your skin, wear open clothes, put your hair up however you want, etc.
