IVF procedure
ECOThe IVF procedure is popular all over the world. Due to the high precision and quality of the procedure, the probability of having a baby increases many times over. MDI Clinic performs thousands of surgeries each year.
Treatment methods
Echo is prescribed for:
- mechanical or hormonal infertility;
- male infertility;
- at a young age;
- low ovarian reserve.
Diagnosis of in vitro fertilization
Before the procedure, women must have a blood test and an ultrasound scan. Men are prescribed a semen analysis.
Day 1 – After registering at the clinic, the patient comes for a consultation with the doctor. The diagnostician examines and reviews medical records. Then he takes a history. The patient is given a referral for tests and diagnostic procedures.
Day 2 – conducting a detailed clinical and biochemical blood tests, hormonal examination. Urinalysis and semen analysis. Women are examined by a gynecologist and undergo an ultrasound.
Day 3 – diagnosis by a reproductive specialist. The doctor summarizes, verifies and certifies the translations. Makes recommendations and writes prescriptions. The patient is prescribed medication and the optimal date for the procedure is determined.
IVF treatment at MDI Clinic
The screening test is the most important one. Doctors find out the reasons that rule out a negative outcome of surgical intervention. Doctors try to avoid taking large amounts of hormones. IVF is categorized as an invasive procedure. The specialist determines the method of replanting. Some methods involve additional manipulations with embryo freezing and replanting. Routine semen analysis and antibody testing is done to select the best regimen.
Reproductive doctors are trying to get more eggs. Intensive hormone therapy is prescribed and follicles are monitored. After they mature, the procedure is performed under general anesthesia. A small needle is used to retrieve the eggs. After fertilization, the developed embryos are planted in the uterus.
Conducting additional research
In vitro fertilization procedures are performed:
- micromanipulation if the sperm quality is not good;
- cryopreservation of embryos or eggs – frozen embryos or eggs can be used in other IVF attempts;
- sperm retrieval through surgery is a minimally invasive manipulation.

Really enjoyed the MDI clinic. Great attitude towards patients. Applied with the problem of psoriasis (>10 years trying to cure and nothing helps). I was worried about how everything would go, as I was flying from another country, but before arrival everything was discussed with me: what to do, how much time of stay will be needed, cost, accommodation, absolutely everything and I was not so worried. Upon arrival I was met, driven to the hotel and was in constant contact with me. Also gave a local SIM card for communication and internet, drove and accompanied everywhere.
