If the masses are painful, pain medication may be used. In this way, the patients’ condition is significantly improved.

In rare cases, the condition may manifest with a sensation of severe discomfort. In such cases, the doctor may consider prescribing hormonal medications.

If fibroadenomas grow significantly and cause severe pain, changes in texture, your doctor may suggest surgical removal of the seals.

The disease is often associated with hormonal changes in balance. It can occur in response to changing levels of female sex hormones, such as estrogen and progesterone, during the menstrual cycle. This is the reason why fibroadenomas often enlarge and become more successful during menstruation or pregnancy.

Heredity may play a role in the development of the disease. If there is a family history of the disease, the measures for a woman to develop it may be higher.

The main symptom is the presence of tight lumps or nodules in the breast area. These nodules can often suddenly become palpable and change their size and shape.

Some women with this disease may experience pain or discomfort in the area of the lump. This pain may get worse during menstruation.

Fibroadenomas often respond to hormonal changes, so they can appear socially and become more promising during menstruation or pregnancy.

In rare cases, the condition may cause a slight nipple discharge. This phenomenon is most often painless and is not associated with malignant processes.

Diagnosis

The doctor performs a palpation of the mammary glands to determine the seals, their size, shape and consistency. In doing so, the woman can report the location and the nature of the pain, if any.

Mammography is an x-ray examination of the breast glands. It allows you to obtain the presence of images of internal breast structures and pronounced seals. It can be useful in differentiating fibroadenoma from other pathologies including tumor.

A breast ultrasound may be performed for more information. Ultrasound helps to determine the nature of the seals, their size, shape, and relationship to surrounding tissues.

In some cases, breast MRI may be observed for more detailed visualization of the area of induction. This method can be used when other studies do not provide a clear indication of seal quality retention.
